Tour Description

City Tour & Schönbrunn Palace
This classic sightseeing tour is the perfect introduction to Vienna’s most famous landmarks, combined with a guided visit to the magnificent Schönbrunn Palace.

The tour begins at Operngasse 8, from where we set off along Vienna’s grand Ringstrasse boulevard. As we drive through the historic city centre, you’ll pass many of Vienna’s most important sights.

Your first highlight is the impressive Vienna State Opera, world-famous as the venue of the annual Vienna Opera Ball. Just a short distance away stands the Hofburg Palace, the former winter residence of the Habsburg imperial family and today the seat of the Austrian President.

Continuing along the Ringstrasse, you’ll see the monumental Museum of Art History and Museum of Natural History, followed by the elegant Parliament building, the renowned Burgtheater, and the striking Vienna City Hall, each showcasing a different architectural style and chapter of the city’s history.

Schönbrunn Palace – Guided Visit
Upon arrival at Schönbrunn Palace, your guided tour begins immediately—no waiting time at Austria’s most popular attraction. This former imperial summer residence is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of Vienna’s most visited landmarks.

During the guided tour of the palace’s historic state rooms, you’ll gain insight into the everyday life of the Habsburg emperors and empresses, including Maria Theresa and Emperor Franz Joseph. The lavish interiors reflect the splendour and power of the former monarchy.

After the palace tour, you’ll have free time to stroll through the beautifully landscaped gardens or relax with a cup of traditional Viennese coffee and a slice of classic apple strudel.

The tour concludes back at the Vienna State Opera, leaving you perfectly placed to continue exploring the city.
