Those who opt for the guided tour will have the chance to learn about Toledo's Cathedral. Its construction began in the 13th century and was based on the remnants of an Arab mosque. It is currently among Spain's most significant Gothic cathedrals. Before entering, take at the gorgeous exterior and the enormous bell tower. Explore its interior and the Sacristy, which is filled with masterpieces from the art museum it once was. View fifteen of El Greco's works among them.
We'll have some free time in the city after our tour of the Cathedral, so you can go shopping or grab coffee.
You will have the opportunity to explore Toledo at your own leisure if you would rather do it alone. Its rich architectural and cultural variety will astonish you at every turn with its intriguing blend of civilisations. You may experience the history of a city where Christians, Muslims, and Jews cohabit by visiting the Church of Santo Tomé, which is home to one of El Greco's most well-known pieces.
It's time to head back to Madrid, where we'll eat lunch for about an hour.
We are going to Segovia in the afternoon. The first monument we will come across in the city is the Aqueduct, which is where we will park. It is regarded as one of the best maintained in the world and is made up of 167 arches.
We will get the chance to go on a walking tour of the city, starting here at the Plaza Mayor. The Cathedral is the major attraction here, although there are other landmarks as well, like the Juan Bravo Theatre and the Town Hall of Segovia. After entering the Cathedral, we will have a thorough guided tour.
We will have a little free time after our tour of the Cathedral. The Alcázar, one of the world's most renowned and best-preserved mediaeval castles, will be the next destination.
