It's just an exquisite scene. The Norman castle is encircled by a sizable estate and was constructed on two little islets in the centre of a lake. Before the castle is opened to the public, we start the day with a private viewing. After touring the chapel, galleries, courtyards, and banqueting hall, we will have some time to appreciate the surroundings and the local wildlife, which includes black swans and wildfowl.

After that, we travel to Canterbury, which includes admission to Canterbury Cathedral. For about 1,700 years, Canterbury has served as the focal point of Christian devotion. The cathedral, which is notorious for being the scene of Thomas Beckett's horrific death in 1170, is its finest gem. Four of Henry II's knights rode to the Cathedral and cut off Beckett's head when he yelled, "Who will rid me of this turbulent priest?" Geoffrey Chaucer immortalised the location of one of the most significant mediaeval pilgrimages in Europe in The Canterbury Tales.

Greenwich and Thames Cruise

With its many beautiful parks, gardens, and buildings, Greenwich is closely related to the sea, science, monarchs, and time. The Cutty Sark, the fastest sailing ship of its era, will be open for us to view. We take a leisurely voyage back to the heart of London in the early evening. Before reaching Embankment Pier, where our tour comes to a close, we will pass by iconic landmarks like the Houses of Parliament, Big Ben, and the Tower of London.
