Tour Description

Take the Red Line, which departs at the Railway Station, if you want to get right into Oxford's history. We'll drop you off at Park End Street, where you may stroll and enjoy the beauty of Oxford's hidden gem, the Castle Mill Stream. Would you like to do some shopping while you're there? For a fantastic shopping experience, get off at the amazing Westgate Shopping Centre!

 

Some of the old-style colleges, some of which are from the early 14th century, are directly passed by the Red Line. From the top of our open-top buses, you will have a clear view of the gates of Trinity College, Brasenose College, and Queen's College. Additionally, we'll transport you directly to the historic Sheldonian Theatre so you can admire its magnificent English-style architecture.

  • Schedule: 09:30 - 16:40
  • Frequency: 20-30 Minutes
  • Loop: 6Minutes
  • First Stop: Oxford Railway Station

  • You can board the bus at any stop and voucher can be exchanged directly with the driver.
  • You can join the tour also from: Visitor Information Point 44-45 High Street.
  • You will receive a ticket in exchange for your voucher, which you must keep until the expiry date/ tour.
  • Please check your ticket to know when it expires.
  • After exchanging your voucher for a ticket, your voucher will no longer be valid.
  • In loss of voucher/ticket, company is not liable for any refund.

Voucher Validity:

  • The voucher is valid for 12 months from the date of booking.

Important Info:

  • There may be disruptions due to weather, traffic, and events.
  • You can board the bus at any stop and voucher can be exchanged directly with the driver.
  • Stops and timings are subject to alter. There will be an updated map on the bus.
  • There may be a small delay in the bus's arrival and departure schedules.
  • Road closures and heavy traffic can result in delays, reduced trips, and route modifications. We'll make every effort to deliver a seamless and regular service! Under these  circumstances, there will be no refund.

Hop-On Hop-Off Tour:

  • Paper vouchers can be redeemed at our Visitor Information Point at 44-45 High Street, Oxford, our ticket sellers and our drivers.
  • Operational season: all year round (Except on: 1st January, 25th & 26th December)

Bus Timetable:

  • 20th November - 4th January 2026: First departure from Stop 1 at 9:30am. Last departure from Stop 1 at 4pm. Buses run every 20 minutes
  • There will be no service on 25th & 26th December and 1st January 2026
  • 05th January 2026 - 13th February 2026: First departure from Stop 1 at 9:30am. Last departure from Stop 1 at 4pm. Buses run every 30 minutes Monday - Thursday, and every 20 minutes Friday - Sunday
  • 14th February 2026 - 27th March 2026: First departure from Stop 1 at 9:30am. Last departure from Stop 1 at 5pm. Buses run every 20 minutes

Walking Tours Timetable (until 27th March 2026):

  • 45-minute Stepping Through Oxford: Departs daily at 11:30am, 12:30pm and 1:30pm from 44-45 High Street. Departure at 2:30pm only during School Holidays (20th December - 4th January and 14th - 22nd February)
  • 90-minute Town and Gown: Departs daily at 12:30pm from Carfax Tower.

  • To get the full refund, you must cancel your booking at least 24 hours before the activity/tour start time. 
  • If you cancel your booking less than 24 hours before the activity/ tour start time, you will not get any refund.
  • Modifications/ changes are allowed at least 24 hours before the activity/ tour start time.
  • You must contact us through email. The activity/tour's local start time determines the cut-off times.

  • There may be unexpected changes in the route or timetable due to traffic, public holidays, weather conditions, cruise ship arrivals, or other unanticipated situations.During major events, summer vacations, and weekends, the city will be quite busy. We will do everything we can to provide a smooth and consistent service! In such cases, no reimbursement is allowed.
  • Tours run regardless of the weather. Weather-related refunds will not be issued unless the service is discontinued due to inclement weather.
  • The service provider preserves the right to amend or cancel the itinerary due to city events or force majeure.
