Hop-on Hop-off Bus:

  • Timings: 09:30, 10:40, 11:40, 13:30, 14:30, 15:30 & 16:30
  • Full Loop: Approx. 120 Minutes
  • Departure Point: Theatre Royal

River Cruise:

  • 15th February to 31st October: Daily, 10:00am - 5:00pm (every 30 mins)
  • 01st November to 21st December: Saturday and Sunday hourly 10:00am - 3:00pm (every 60 mins)
  • Departure Location: Windsor Promenade Barry Avenue, Windsor, Berkshire. Nearest postcode: SL41 1QX
  • You must bring your e-ticket and scan it with the team at the ticket office.

Windsor Castle:

  • Thursday to Monday, 10:00 with last admission at 15:30. Windsor Castle is closed every Tuesday and Wednesday.
  • The Semi-State Rooms at Windsor Castle will not open in October as scheduled this year.
  • St. George’s Chapel is closed to visitors on Sundays as services are held throughout the day. Worshippers are welcome to attend the services.
  • Windsor Castle closures: As Windsor Castle is a working royal palace, sometimes the entire Castle or the State Apartments within the Castle need to be closed at short notice. Every Tuesday and Wednesday. 24-26 December Castle closed

  • Passengers can board at any stop and simply exchange their booking voucher with the driver/street staff at that point.
  • Each of our stops will be clearly signposted Golden Tours.
  • Your booking voucher will expire after you exchange it for a ticket.
  • The company or bus operator will not provide a refund if a voucher or ticket is misplaced.

Voucher Validity:

  • Remember that your vouchers will remain valid for the date and time selected at the time of purchase.

Important Info:

  • There may be disruptions due to weather, traffic, and events. Refunds due to weather will not be issued unless the service is suspended due to weather.
  • Infants will continue to travel free of charge and without a ticket while placed on the lap of a paying adult (up to two infants per adult). If the infant needs a separate individual seat, a kid category ticket must be ordered.
  • Buses that are 100% environmentally friendly.
  • Complimentary ear phones are provided, or you may use your own wired earbuds with a jack plug.
  • Sailings will not take place between 23rd and 31st of December.
  • During out of peak season, trip will run subject to river conditions.
  • Windsor Castle closures: As Windsor Castle is a working royal palace, sometimes the entire Castle or the State Apartments within the Castle need to be closed at short notice. Every Tuesday and Wednesday and 24-26 December Castle closed.

  • Tours run regardless of the weather. Weather-related refunds will not be issued unless the service is discontinued due to inclement weather.
  • The service provider preserves the right to amend or cancel the itinerary due to city events or force majeure.
